INTRO
A Geisha from Heiner Lasso, co-fermented with lemongrass leaves and stems. The lemongrass carries straight through to the cup, sitting between lychee and white currant, with the floral lift the variety is known for running underneath it all. An experimental process applied to a variety that usually speaks for itself — and here, the two work together rather than competing.
THE PROCESS
An anaerobic washed process with lemongrass co-fermentation: lemongrass leaves and stems are introduced during fermentation, allowing their aromatics to infuse directly into the coffee before it is washed and dried.
THE CUP
Precise and layered, with lemongrass threaded through the elegance of Geisha rather than masking it. A coffee that earns the experimentation.
