The Mechanism behind The RoadRunner™
Whilst looking like a traditional French Press, The RoadRunner™ - like its older Brother The Bird - is anything but. Firstly immersion takes place, then an optional level of agitation can be imparted to the brew by a satisfying Wingnut mechanism to spin paddles in the brew chamber. In the next stage, the entire brew is pulled up and at the same time creating a vacuum space below the filter. The brewed liquid is lastly forced and percolated through the coffee bed and filter to result in the final brew, with zero bypass.
Included with The RoadRunner™ are a multitude of accessories to compliment your experience. From a custom tin to house your filter papers, 150 included Abaca (Cafec) filter papers, a microfiber-lined neoprene travel sleeve, and a reusable stainless steel mesh filter. Oh, and the three cute integrated and custom-to-RoadRunner bean cellars with proprietary one-way freshness valve!
