INTRO From Mark Bolliger Neumann's Finca Rosenheim, cultivated within Villa Rica's biosphere reserve — an exceptionally elegant Gesha from the estate's "Africano" experimental plot. Purple floral aromatics lead into bright citrus, with a delicate tea-like clarity running throughout. In the cup: purple floral, citrus, and tealike.

THE PRODUCER Finca Rosenheim is a large coffee estate hidden within the primeval forest of Peru's fertile Selva Central, just 2km from Villa Rica. Spanning up to 40 hectares at over 1,600 masl, the estate reflects a profound commitment to sustainable excellence, and is known for producing distinctive coffees across several varieties — this "Africano" plot representing one of its more experimental plantings of Gesha.

THE PROCESS This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing Gesha's naturally floral, tea-like character to come through with elegant clarity, building the purple floral and citrus notes that define this cup.

THE CUP Elegant and clear — purple floral aromatics up front, bright citrus through the middle, and a delicate tea-like finish. A refined expression of Gesha from Finca Rosenheim's experimental "Africano" plot.
