Introducing The EG-1, reaching the pinnacle
A multi-focussed 80mm flat burr grinder, by Weber. Join the upper echelons, there aren't many up here.
Touted as the pinnacle home grinder.

80mm Blind Burrs
The EG-1 houses 80mm burrs that are 'Blind'. That means no screw holes on the face of the cutting surface.
Easy to clean with magnetically fixed facias, that can be easily removed to access the burrs for simple maintenance.
With a couple of burr options, EG-1 comes as standard with the 'Core' burrs for multipurpose grinding. Add the 'ULF' Ultra Low Fines burrs which have been touted as the world's best commercially available burrs for filter, with an incredible balance of texture and clarity.
Standing out from the crowd
-
Adjustable rpm
You might think this is simply a feature all higher end grinders have by default. But Weber Workshops were the first to bring this to your coffee workflow.
The EG-1 somes with a real-time RPM display, adjustable up to 1800 RPM

80mm Blind burrs
Blind? Yes, meaning without physical screw holes on the grinding face of the burrs, giving you the full and uninterrupted grinding surface
The burrs are easily hot swappable, via a magnetic attachment to the grinder, it takes less than 60 seconds to swap the burrs out, and even less to clean them.

New to v3, purging
A Purge button in the centre of the RPM dial has two functions. From a stop, it spins the burrs in reverse before briefly spinning them at Max RPM. This can dislodge foreign objects or unroasted beans that may have jammed the grinder, and purge the last granules of leftover coffee. Pushing the button while grinding gives a temporary MAX burst.
