From the famed coffee heartland of Nyeri, this Gatugi Peaberry lot represents classic Kenyan craftsmanship. Produced by members of the Othaya Farmers’ Cooperative Society, this coffee showcases the vibrant structure and clarity that define Kenya’s finest washed coffees.
The SL28 and SL34 varieties, grown in the rich red volcanic soils of the Aberdare ranges, develop remarkable sweetness and intensity at high elevations. After careful handpicking, cherries are pulped, typically fermented for 27-35 hours, then fully washed and dried on raised beds under the mountain sun.

A refined and expressive Kenyan profile that balances fruit brightness with deep sweetness. Expect hibiscus and berry aromatics leading to notes of prune and brown sugar, offering both juicy acidity and comforting richness in equal measure.
