Intro
Oma Lot #10 from Elto Elora Station is a beautifully precise anaerobic washed coffee that highlights just how expressive Ethiopian landrace varieties can be when fermentation is carefully controlled. This lot is elegant, aromatic, and vibrant, combining floral delicacy with tropical sweetness and a clean, refined structure.
The Producer
Eliyas Dukamo & Atiklit Dejene, the team behind Elto Coffee, are among the most respected names in modern Ethiopian specialty coffee. Their work focuses on meticulous lot separation, advanced processing techniques, and close collaboration with local producers across Sidama and Yirgacheffe.
Elora Station is one of Elto’s flagship sites, known for producing exceptionally clean and expressive washed, honey, and anaerobic lots. Through precision processing and transparent sourcing, Eliyas and Atiklit continue to set a high benchmark for quality-driven Ethiopian coffees.
The Process
This coffee undergoes an anaerobic washed process. After harvest, ripe cherries are depulped and fermented in sealed, oxygen-limited tanks, allowing fermentation to progress slowly and evenly. This method enhances sweetness, without introducing heavy fermentation character.
In the Cup
The cup opens with lifted jasmine florals, setting an elegant aromatic tone. Bright orange acidity follows, bringing freshness and clarity, while guava adds a soft tropical juiciness through the mid-palate. A lingering honey-like sweetness rounds everything out, creating a smooth, clean, and balanced finish. The result is a coffee that feels both vibrant and polished.
