THE CUP

Rich, jammy, and perfectly balanced — Berliner is a vibrant espresso blend inspired by DAK's much-loved Cream Donut. The Colombian component brings round sweetness and a creamy texture, while the Kenyan coffees lift the cup with bright fruit and lively acidity. Expect notes of raspberry, strawberry jam, and milk chocolate, all coming together in a cup that’s equal parts comforting and exciting.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Crafted to shine as espresso, Berliner delivers a playful balance of sweetness and fruit, with a silky texture that makes it exceptional both on its own and with milk. Think of it as a modern classic — a coffee that’s approachable, full of character, and endlessly drinkable.

What is the roast recency?

We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
