INTRO
Each September, a very special birthday blend is curated to celebrate the year and say thank you to patrons and cheerleaders — a love letter in coffee form. This year's aim was a coffee that tastes like every fruit-flavoured thing ever consumed in the 90s. Distinctly fruit-forward yet relatively clean, floral and fresh, light and juicy — this coffee is a treasure trove of sense memories. In the cup: fruit-forward sweetness, floral brightness, and a light, juicy character.

THE PRODUCER
This blend combines six coffees from beloved producers, each contributing something specific:

  • Diego Bermudez, Lychee Peach (Piendamó, Cauca, Colombia) — the blend's base notes
  • Néstor Lasso, Thermal Shock Caturra (Pitalito, Huila, Colombia) — amplifying fruit flavours
  • Huver Castillo, Aponte Florale (Buesaco, Nariño, Colombia) — florality and citrus
  • Paola Trujillo, Advanced Washed SL28 (Caldono, Cauca, Colombia) — amplifying fruit flavours
  • Sebastián Ramírez, Watermelon (Quindío, Colombia) — amplifying fruit flavours

THE PROCESS
Diego Bermudez's Lychee Peach co-ferment forms the foundation, while the Néstor Lasso, Paola Trujillo, and Sebastián Ramírez lots ramp up the fruit intensity. Huver Castillo's Aponte Florale lends florality and citrus, and the washed Ethiopian Aricha lot balances everything out.

Combining six distinct producer lots, each chosen for a specific role, is the defining structure here — it's what builds the layered, nostalgic fruit-forward character that defines this blend while keeping it clean and vibrant rather than overwhelming.
