Naughty Surfer Edition – Colombia & Ethiopia Natural Blend

Roasted for espresso, this playful, vibrant, and effortlessly drinkable Naughty Surfer Edition is a fruit-forward natural blend designed to feel just as good on a slow morning as it does after a long day. By combining two expressive natural coffees from Colombia and Ethiopia, this blend balances lively acidity with smooth sweetness and a satisfying, dessert-like finish.

In the cup, the profile is bright yet harmonious. Juicy red berry notes lead the way—think ripe strawberries and raspberries—supported by a pleasant, higher acidity that keeps the coffee fresh and energetic. As it cools, the sweetness rounds out into a soft, confectionary finish reminiscent of nougat pralines.

The blend brings together:

  • Colombia – Finca El Mirador, Geisha (Natural): contributing elegance, sweetness, and refined fruit character.

  • Ethiopia – Gotiti (Natural): adding vibrancy, lifted acidity, and classic berry-driven intensity.

Both components are naturals, allowing the fruit character of each origin to shine while complementing one another beautifully.

What is the roast recency?

We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 6-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12 - should we have any left in stock!). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
