Alo Coffee was founded in 2020 by Tamiru Tadesse with a mission to produce and export high-quality coffees from Bensa, Sidama. Inspired by a friendâs Cup of Excellence win, Tamiru established the Alo washing station in Bona Zuria, sourcing cherries from high-elevation farms that were previously unsuitable for coffee cultivation due to climate challenges. This lot showcases the dedication of local outgrowers and the regionâs potential for exceptional specialty coffee.
