In the Cup
Sticky Waffle is a dessert-like delight — syrupy and smooth with a lively citrus sparkle. The cup opens with candied orange and maple glaze, evolving into soft almond pastry notes as it cools. Sweet, clean, and perfectly balanced, it’s a coffee that feels indulgent yet elegant.

About the Producer
The Crespo family purchased their farm 12 years ago with a vision to elevate Ecuadorian coffee through innovation and precision. Cherries are harvested at peak ripeness and brought to a nearby wet mill — just 800 meters away — to maintain absolute freshness. After pulping, they undergo the Golden Honey process, fermenting for 18 hours before drying on raised African beds under 70% shade for 12 days. The result is a coffee that reflects both craft and curiosity, capturing the Crespo family’s dedication to quality and detail.

A returning DAK favourite that truly lives up to its name — Sticky Waffle is golden, sweet, and endlessly satisfying.

We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
