ABOUT THIS COFFEE
From the lush hills of Palestina, Huila, this Pink Bourbon from Viktor Barrera’s El Tesoro farm is a brilliant example of balance and clarity. Washed with precision, the coffee highlights the inherent sweetness and floral complexity that make the Pink Bourbon variety so sought after.
In the cup, El Tesoro shines with vibrant acidity, structured sweetness, and a light, refined body. The result is a clean, expressive coffee that captures the best of Huila — elegant, bright, and full of character.
WHY WE LOVE IT
A gorgeous washed Pink Bourbon — sweet like honey, zesty like lemon, and graceful with floral nuance. It’s a coffee that rewards careful brewing and lingers long after the last sip.
What is the roast recency?
We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
