Goût & Co is a micro specialty coffee roastery founded in 2020 in Chengdu, China. Today, G&C operate two coffee shops and a roasting atelier powered by two Stronghold S7Pro machines.
G&C focus on light roasts that highlight the unique terroir of each coffee - its origin, climate, soil, and the people behind it. Every bean is roasted with precision to express its full potential in the cup.
Founder Tong Zhang, a former robotics engineer with a master’s degree from France, discovered specialty coffee in Paris. In his first year as a barista, he placed 3rd in the French Brewers Cup. After returning to Chengdu, he won the 2019 AeroPress Regional Championship and launched Goût & Co in 2020. Tong brings technical skill and creative passion to every roast, crafting coffee that tells a story.
