Upgrade your espresso workflow with the Timemore Impulse Impact Tamper, a premium spring-loaded impact espresso tamper designed for baristas who want maximum consistency, cleaner workflow, and improved shot quality. Engineered with high-end materials and a self-levelling design, this tamper delivers repeatable results shot after shot—perfect for both home baristas and professional cafés.

Powerful Spring-Action Tamping for Perfect Espresso

The Impulse Impact Tamper features a precision spring action assembly that applies consistent pressure every time. The internal springs drive a firm, even tamp—ideal for preventing channelling and ensuring balanced extraction. When at an appropriate tamp pressure, the mechanism resets instantly with a crisp snap, keeping your workflow fast and efficient and reducing any thought into how much pressure to tamp.

Durable All-Metal Construction

Built for long-term reliability, this espresso tamper combines an anodized aluminium grip with a precision-milled stainless steel base. The result is a sturdy, well-balanced tool that feels premium in the hand and performs flawlessly under daily use.

Self-Leveling Collar for Consistency

Achieve a flat, even puck every time with the tamper’s self-leveling design. A fixed collar guides the base perfectly straight, ensuring consistent tamping depth and eliminating uneven pressure—key to extracting richer, more flavorful espresso.

Anti-Vacuum Base for a Cleaner Workflow

The tamper’s anti-vacuum base features a chamfered edge that prevents the puck from lifting when removed. No more suction, mess, or disrupted coffee beds - just clean, smooth, professional tamping.

Multiple Sizes and Finishes to Fit Your Espresso Setup

Choose the perfect match for your portafilter and style. The Impulse Impact Tamper is available in multiple diameters, flat or ripple bases, and your choice of black or white finish, making it compatible with most espresso machines and coffee setups.
