INTRO From Kai Janson's Janson Coffee Farm in Chiriquí — a washed Green Tip Geisha with jasmine and orange blossom aromatics leading, layered with white peach sweetness and a green tea structure. In the cup: jasmine, orange blossom, white peach, and green tea.
THE PRODUCER Janson Coffee is operated by the Janson family, whose work began after recognising the agricultural potential of their land in the Chiriquí highlands in the 1980s, formally establishing Janson Coffee in 1990. The plantations sit on the slopes of the Tisingal and Barú volcanoes, part of the Talamanca mountain range, managed by individual lots for traceability and quality control. Today, Kai Janson continues to lead the farm's coffee production and processing, alongside Janette and Miguel.
THE PROCESS This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing Green Tip Geisha's naturally floral, tea-like character to come through with clarity, building the jasmine and orange blossom aromatics that define this cup.
THE CUP Floral and delicate — jasmine and orange blossom aromatics up front, white peach sweetness through the middle, and a green tea structure on the finish.
