INTRO Very floral, with a crisp acidity — Victoria Atao and her husband Eudis Orosco manage a small, high-altitude farm using traditional Inca methods of agroforestry. Elderflower and bergamot lead, with kiwi and honeydew sweetness rounding out the cup. In the cup: elderflower, bergamot, kiwi, and honeydew.
THE PRODUCER Victoria Atao and Eudis Orosco farm across two plots — Finca Paulette, worked by Victoria, and Finca Bella Vista, worked by Eudis — both processed at the family's wet mill at Finca Bella Vista, using traditional Inca agroforestry methods at high altitude.
THE PROCESS This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing SL9's naturally floral, crisp character to come through with clarity, building the elderflower and bergamot brightness that define this cup.
THE CUP Very floral and crisp — elderflower and bergamot lead, with kiwi and honeydew sweetness rounding out a bright, clean acidity throughout.
