Description

The Timemore Chestnut S5 Pro is an all-metal manual grinder built around Timemore's largest hand-grinder burr yet, the 48mm TriB-048-I, for espresso through to French press.

Features

48mm TriB-048-I burrs in 420 stainless steel (58HRC, 5-axis CNC machined) with a 12-point pre-breaker and Timemore S2C serrated blades
Grinding area increased by 52% compared with the S2C890 burr (Timemore figure)
Lens-inspired external grind dial: 90 clicks per rotation at 15 microns per click, resistant to accidental changes
Custom bearings machined to a 5-micron tolerance to keep the burrs concentric under load
Burr gap of approximately 0.075mm at the zero setting, so you can grind at zero without burr rub
Larger crank knob (63% wider and 82% larger by volume than the S3) for better leverage
Flared inlet for spill-free loading, engraved diagonal ridges for grip and a larger catch cup
All-metal build with a silicone base
Available in Matt Black or Olive Green
