Sigma Coffee UK presents, the Bricks 01S.

The Bricks 01S is Timemore's answer to one question: what does a properly engineered single-dose electric grinder look like at a real-world price? The answer is compact, fast, and genuinely consistent — a grinder that earns its place on a serious home brew station.

Packing 40mm stainless steel conical burrs and 150 steps of grind adjustment into a footprint smaller than most pourover kettles, the Bricks 01S is designed around a single-dose workflow and handles espresso through to coarser filter styles without hesitation. A full dose grinds in under ten seconds, low retention keeps switching between coffees clean, and integrated anti-static control means you spend less time wiping down your bench.

Key features

• 40mm stainless steel conical burr set — engineered for even particle distribution across espresso and filter ranges
• 150, 10 micron stepwise adjustment — fine enough for espresso dialling, broad enough for coarse filter styles
• Single-dose design — load exactly what you need, grind fresh every time
• Low-retention grind path — minimal grounds left behind, ideal for rotating between coffees
• Integrated 'Sculptor' grinds knocker
• Fast grind cycle — a standard espresso dose in under 10 seconds
• Compact all-metal construction — built to last, designed to fit
• Magnetic output cup included — click-in convenience for single-dose workflow

Performance

At this price point, the Bricks 01S competes directly with grinders that cost considerably more. The 40mm conical burr geometry is well-suited to both espresso and filter, producing a particle distribution that's well-sorted without the retention issues that plague cheaper electric options. The 150-step adjustment range gives genuine granularity — you won't find yourself stuck between settings when dialling in.

Build & design

Timemore have applied the same all-metal discipline here that defines their hand grinder range. The Bricks 01S feels substantial without being heavy, and the minimal interface keeps things focused on the grind. Available in Black and White to suit most bench setups.

Who it's for

The Bricks 01S is best suited to home brewers who want a capable, fast electric grinder without committing to a large hopper-fed machine. It works particularly well alongside an espresso machine or a precision brewer like the Timemore B75. If you're weighing single doses and value low retention, this is a strong choice at its price.
