INTRO Grown with care by producer Maria Antonella Amoruso at Finca Lérida — one of Panama's oldest and most prestigious coffee estates, nestled in the mountains of Boquete. A very balanced, sweet, and clean cup, with a silky, tea-like texture lifted by a delicate citric acidity. Vivid Granny Smith apple and raspberry juice open the aromatic profile, harmoniously balanced by almond sweetness and an elegant white floral bouquet. THE PRODUCER Finca Lérida sits on the green slopes of Volcán Barú, in Boquete, Chiriquí — one of Panama's most emblematic coffee farms. Founded in the early 20th century by Toleff Bache Mönniche, a Norwegian engineer and pioneer of coffee cultivation in the country, it became the first farm to export Panamanian coffee to Europe, as early as 1929.

For over a century, the farm has upheld an approach rooted in quality, innovation, and respect for terroir. Coffee is grown between 1,600 and over 2,000 masl, in an exceptional natural environment where rich volcanic soil and a cool, misty microclimate favour a slow, harmonious ripening of the cherries. Internationally recognised since the 2000s, Finca Lérida has repeatedly distinguished itself at Best of Panama, particularly for its floral, elegant Geishas.

THE PROCESS This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing Geisha's naturally floral, tea-like clarity to come through, built on the farm's slow, high-altitude ripening and cool microclimate.

THE CUP Very balanced, sweet, and clean — a silky, tea-like texture lifted by delicate citric acidity. Vivid Granny Smith apple and raspberry juice open the cup, harmoniously balanced by almond sweetness and an elegant white floral bouquet.
