INTRO This Janson Geisha Natural, lot 115, from the renowned Hacienda Janson, reveals an elegant, refined profile. Hacienda sits in the Tizingal region of Chiriquí, Panama — a high-altitude terroir with an ideal climate for growing Geisha. A soft, subtle profile: delicate on the attack, with round, sweet pink guava notes, followed by fresher, more acidic white currant and lemon zest. In the cup: pink guava, white currant, and lemon zest.
THE PRODUCER Founded in 1926 by Carl Axel Janson, a Swedish immigrant captivated by the volcanic landscapes of Chiriquí, Janson Coffee is today an essential name in Panamanian specialty coffee. THE PROCESS This lot is a Natural with 72 hours of fermentation, developing an intense aromatic expression while retaining real finesse.
