Banko Gotiti – Washed Ethiopia
Grown in the highlands of Gedeb at 2,100 masl, this washed lot from Banko Gotiti delivers everything expected from top-tier southern Ethiopia: floral clarity, layered stone fruits, and vibrant citrus.
Processed at Huke, one of Testi Coffee’s premium washing stations, this lot comes from smallholder farmers cultivating organic plots averaging less than a hectare. Each delivery is processed separately by kebele, with Banko Gotiti receiving its own distinction.
The station’s inclusion in Testi’s Premium Cherry Selection (PCS) program guarantees only the ripest cherries are accepted—resulting in exceptional complexity, traceability, and a consistently clean cup.
Sourced through Testi Coffee, a family-owned exporter focused on quality-driven, community-first supply chains.
What is the roast recency?
We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
