After exploring countless recipes and profiles, Onyx couldn’t find a chai that met its exacting standards. So, the team developed one. Through careful sourcing, endless refinement, and a focus on balance, the result is a chai powder that brings bold, spiced flavour and ease of use in equal measure. The same full-bodied, aromatic chai enjoyed in Onyx cafés—now ready for your kitchen.

To create this perfectly balanced blend, Onyx combined several key ingredients to strike a unique harmony between sweet and spicy—with a distinct, warming kick.

Assam Black Tea
A traditional black tea from India, known for its bold and malty character. This tea forms the foundation of the Onyx Chai, delivering a flavour that holds its own alongside the spices. The Assam notes are present and pronounced, without overpowering the blend.

Chai Spice Blend
An Onyx-specific combination of traditional and unexpected ingredients—carefully selected to elevate the profile.
Expect warming tones of Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom, and Lemongrass, balanced by the gentle heat of Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes).
Pure Cane Sugar adds natural sweetness, while All-Natural Citrus Pectin ensures a smooth, clump-free experience.
