INTRO
Classic washed Pacas from Danny Moreno — one of the absolute favourite cup profiles around. Always really well produced, clean, complex, and very sweet, with amazing clarity, texture, and bright acidity. Raspberry-like sweet berries and plum-like stone fruit sit alongside a brown sugar sweetness. In the cup: raspberry, plum, and brown sugar.
THE PRODUCER
A relationship with Danny Moreno and his brother Mario dates back to the 2020 harvest, making this lot part of a long-running, closely followed partnership. In March 2026, a visit was made to Danny at El Filo farm in El Cedral, Honduras, to see the work behind these consistently excellent lots firsthand.
THE PROCESS
This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing Pacas's naturally clean, sweet character to come through with amazing clarity, building the raspberry and plum notes that define this cup.
THE CUP
Rich and sweet — raspberry-like sweet berries lead, with a plum-like stone fruit character through the middle and a brown sugar sweetness on the finish. Amazing clarity and bright acidity throughout.
