About This Coffee
This autumn edition celebrates the season of colour and comfort with a cup that’s both playful and soothing. The flavour is like an autumn fireworks display — sweet, vibrant, and softly spiced with delicate acidity. Each sip reveals layers of orange candy sweetness, the elegant tang of orange wine, and the creamy smoothness of praline chocolate.

Sourced from the Lalesa region in Gedeb, this coffee embodies the complexity and purity that make Ethiopian naturals so beloved. The farms sit at high altitudes between 2,150 and 2,200 MASL, where cool nights and long sunny days allow cherries to mature slowly, creating depth and clarity in the cup.

The slow dry natural process further enhances the flavour. After harvest, cherries are dried under greenhouse-like covers for 20–25 days, a method that extends fermentation and intensifies fruity sweetness while maintaining structure and balance. The result is a rich, layered, and beautifully expressive coffee — equally at home as a filter or espresso, and perfect for crisp autumn mornings or quiet golden afternoons.

What is the roast recency?

We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 6-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12 - should we have any left in stock!). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
