INTRO
A coffee that stood out for its bright, very fruit-forward profile — complex, with layers of citrus and stone fruit and a floral aroma. A beautiful representation of Ethiopian coffee. In the cup: citrus, stone fruit, and floral aroma.
THE PRODUCER
Produced by the Chelbesa Washing Station, together with small coffee growers based in and around the village of Chelbesa in Gedeo zone, Yirgacheffe. The station is owned by SNAP, a local company established to move high-quality coffee forward, selecting quality cherries from 476 growers living in the surrounding area who cultivate small plots for both food crops and coffee.
THE PROCESS
This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing the Ethiopian Landrace's naturally bright, fruit-forward character to come through, building the citrus and stone fruit layering that define this cup.
