INTRO Prolog's third year purchasing coffee from Andrés Torres, this time through Gocta Coffee, securing just 120 kg of this lot. During a 2025 trip to Peru, the team visited Santa Teresa Farm in Amazonas, spending time with Andrés and his family and seeing firsthand the work behind his coffees. Layered floral aromatics and sweet apricot notes lead, with vibrant acidity and the elegant profile Geisha is known for. In the cup: apricot, honey, and wild roses.
THE PRODUCER Santa Teresa is a seven-hectare farm planted entirely with Geisha at 1,600–1,700 masl, managed by Andrés Torres Goicochea using organic farming practices that support both cup quality and long-term sustainability.
THE PROCESS This lot is a Natural — cherries are dried whole, allowing the fruit to impart its character directly into the bean. This approach reflects Andrés' careful, quality-focused approach to production, building the layered floral aromatics and sweet apricot character that define this cup.
THE CUP Layered and elegant — sweet apricot notes lead, with a honeyed sweetness and vibrant acidity throughout, finishing on a delicate wild rose florality.
