INTRO
Gesha Village is a coffee estate in Ethiopia's far southwest, near the Gori Gesha forest — the collection site research links to the Panamanian Geisha line, and one of the most celebrated coffee farms in the world. This exceptional Gesha 1931 from the Oma block carries a silky, delicate acidity with the unmistakable heirloom Gesha signature — luminous peach and jasmine over sweet tropical fruit, resting on a soft, honeyed body. In the cup: white flowers, stone fruit, peach, and jasmine.

THE PRODUCER
Founded by Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton, Gesha Village was built to cultivate source-true Gesha genetics in their native ecology. The farm is divided into traceable sub-blocks, planted with three principal selections: Gesha 1931, Gori Gesha, and Illubabor Forest. This collaboration, now in its third year, centres on mapping each block's nutritional needs from the ground up — high-resolution soil sampling and leaf-tissue analysis across the sub-blocks, feeding into a seasonally staged fertilisation plan that corrects imbalances and supports root vigour without sacrificing cup elegance.

THE PROCESS
This lot is processed as a careful, slow, and cold Natural — cherries dry whole under closely controlled conditions that emphasise clarity and elegance rather than heavy fermentation character.

The slow, cold-processed natural approach is the defining step — it's what builds the elegant, layered peach and jasmine complexity resting on a honeyed body that define this benchmark expression of Gesha 1931.

THE CUP
Elegant and layered — silky, delicate acidity carries luminous peach and jasmine over sweet tropical fruit, aromas of jasmine, honey, ripe mango, and white peach resting on a soft, honeyed body.
