INTRO A competition-tier release from Hachi Panama — "Guritto" (グリット, grit), showcasing the less commonly seen Parainema variety through their proprietary Symbiotic process. Rich plum and black cherry sit beneath a lifted magnolia florality. In the cup: plum, magnolia, and black cherry.
THE PRODUCER Hachi Panama has built a reputation as one of the country's most sought-after Gesha producers, known for meticulous, small-batch processing — and this release shows that same precision extended to Parainema, a variety far less commonly seen at this level of specialty coffee.
THE PROCESS This lot uses Hachi's Symbiotic process, a proprietary method distinctive to their competition-tier releases — building the depth and complexity behind the plum, magnolia, and black cherry character that define this cup.
