SSP sit on the front stage when it comes to flat burr design. Allowing you to access a higher level of grind quality with your current electric grinder, without the full price of upgrading your entire grinder.

The Multipurpose V1 (MPV1) burrs are the original SSP 64mm Multipurpose burrs; designed for those who are high clarity seeking filter brewers. The V2 added flat faces to the final cutting edge of the burrs which allows the generation of a controlled number of fines. The V1 does not have these flat faces, meaning fines production is minimised producing a higher clarity, lighter body cup

If you are looking for brew/filter focussed burrs, with minimal fines for the highest clarity and light body, the original SSP Multipurpose V1 burrs are the way to go. If you prefer having slightly more body and texture whilst retaining the clarity and flavour separation, the Cast Burrs will provide for this.
