INTRO
Zuria is Prodigal's new seasonal blend, composed of fresh Ethiopian washed and natural coffees alongside Colombian washed Chiroso. Zesty and bold, with big flavours of concord grape, plum, and apricot. In the cup: concord grape, plum, and apricot.

THE PRODUCER
This blend combines three distinct components: a washed Ethiopian, bringing elegant, subtle fruit notes; a natural Ethiopian, bringing tropical fruit punch; and Colombian washed Chiroso — a darling variety quickly gaining notoriety — adding fruitiness and balance. Blends are usually unchanging combinations of the same two or three coffees, purchased in large quantities for consistency, but Prodigal's blends consist of fresh headline coffees, with components changing bit by bit to keep the flavour fresh and lively while the spirit of the blend stays the same.

THE PROCESS
This blend combines Washed and Natural processing across its three components — the washed lots (Ethiopian and Chiroso) contribute clarity and structure, while the natural Ethiopian layers in tropical fruit intensity.

Blending processing styles across three distinct producer lots is the defining approach here — landed on over numerous cuppings, in what's described as the "goldilocks zone" for flavour, building the concord grape, plum, and apricot character that define this blend.
