KRUVE Earth Coffee Cups x OurCoffeeShelter
£29.00
Description
The Earth Coffee Cups are a collaboration between KRUVE and OurCoffeeShelter (OCS) — a wide, shallow espresso cup built around a simple idea: get closer to the aroma and crema by changing the shape of the vessel, not just the coffee in it. The low, open profile puts more of the shot's surface at nose height as you drink, which is a genuinely different way to experience a shot compared with a standard tall, narrow espresso cup.
Each cup is hand-finished earthenware ceramic, durable and temperature-resistant enough to sit warming above your machine before a pull, or go in the freezer if you want to try a chilled shot. Sold as a set of two, in four colourways split across two finishes — raw, unglazed clay and a glossy glaze.

Worth knowing
The two RAW colourways (ClayStone Brown and SandStorm White) are unglazed by design — coffee oils will gradually stain and patina the surface with use. That's the material doing what it's meant to do, not a defect, but it does mean the finish will visibly change over time. If you'd rather the colour stayed exactly as it arrived, go for one of the GLOSSY finishes instead.
At 75ml, this runs on the smaller side — comfortable for a single shot, but a 40g double will fill it right to the rim, so it's worth setting expectations if you're pulling longer ratios.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants a genuinely different sensory ritual around a single shot rather than just another cup — this is more about slowing down and engaging with aroma and crema than everyday practicality. Less suited if you're regularly pulling long doubles and want margin in the cup.
