Description
The KRUVE Brew Stick is a purpose-built agitation tool — use it to stir grounds during brewing for a more even extraction, or as a long-form stir stick generally. Version 2 keeps the same reach and build as the original but adds a larger spoon surface and a textured grip, with a refined shape for better balance in hand.
Why agitation matters
Agitation (also called turbulence) is simply mixing or shuffling the coffee bed while it brews. Doing it deliberately — rather than having the water pass through the bed undisturbed — help to increase extraction on pour-over or immersion brewers.

Worth knowing
Being stainless steel rather than glass, it's essentially indestructible day to day, but it does conduct heat — expect the stick to get warm during longer agitation sessions in hot water, and it will pull a small amount of heat out of the brew bed compared with a glass or plastic stirrer.
