Huila, Colombia - Washed Pink Bourbon

Yobani Ramos and her husband Yaved grow exceptional coffee at Finca La Fuente, a 6-hectare farm in Tarqui, Huila, sitting between 1,825 and 2,000 masl. They grow Caturra, Colombia, and Pink Bourbon, and follow organic and biodynamic practices, producing compost teas and natural pest control to nourish the land.

In recent years, they’ve made major investments in quality—renovating their beneficio with tiled tanks and improving drying infrastructure with shaded beds for slower, more even drying. The high elevation encourages slow cherry ripening, resulting in clean, sweet lots with notes of papaya, lychee, and melon.

Flavour Notes: Red Berries, Fruity, Elegant

We recommend brewing with beans that are at least two weeks off roast. All beans are roasted to peak flavour at around 8-12 weeks. We have the option to either purchase standard beans (at least 2 weeks but no longer than 6 weeks off roast), or rested beans (at least 7 weeks off roast, no longer than 12). For peak flavour, if you are looking to use immediately, we recommend purchasing the rested beans. If you are adding to your rotation of beans, we recommend purchasing the standard and allowing the beans to naturally rest and mature whilst you rotate through other beans.
