THE PROCESS

The Washed process at Finca La Fortuna involves:

• 🔧 Depulping — Cherries depulped promptly after harvest to preserve freshness
• 💧 Fermentation & Washing — Coffee ferments before being fully washed to remove all mucilage
• ☀️ Raised Bed Drying — Dried on raised beds allowing air circulation and even moisture loss
