Two brew baskets and an adjustable dual showerhead adapt water distribution for single servings and batch brews. Make coffee for yourself or share up to 1.5 litres.
Temperature that follows the recipe
Aiden controls water temperature throughout the brew. Match your recipe to the coffee, rather than relying on one fixed brewing temperature.
Bloom and pulse control
A dedicated bloom and measured water pulses help wet the coffee evenly. Custom profiles let you adjust bloom, timing, temperature and brew ratio.
Guidance built in
Choose a built-in profile by roast level, follow a roaster's recipe or save your own. The colour LCD guides you through settings and each stage of brewing. Aiden is SCA Certified for brewed coffee quality.
Coffee that stays warm
The double-wall thermal carafe keeps brewed coffee hot without a hot plate. A removable tank makes filling easier, and the no-drip basket helps keep cleanup tidy.
App control and cold brew
Use the iOS or Android app to manage profiles, schedule brews and receive updates. A hot-bloom, slow-drip cold-brew profile takes around 90 minutes; timing depends on the recipe.

Getting started
Choose your basket
Use the single-serve cone for smaller brews or the batch basket for a carafe. Set the showerhead to match and fit the appropriate paper filter.
Grind and measure
Use freshly ground coffee and the dose guidance for your selected recipe. Aiden brews the coffee; you will need a separate grinder when using whole beans.
Choose a profile
Start with a built-in roast profile, then adjust your recipe to taste. Follow the supplied guide for first use and the safety manual for cleaning and descaling.
Your questions, answered
Does Aiden grind coffee beans?
No. Aiden is a coffee brewer, so it needs ground coffee. Pair it with a separate grinder such as Opus 2 if you prefer to grind whole beans just before brewing.
Can I make a single cup as well as a batch?
Yes. Aiden includes single-serve and batch baskets, with an adjustable showerhead for the brew size. Its maximum capacity is 1.5 litres, or up to 10 cups using Fellow's cup measure.
Which paper filters do I need?
Use standard #2 cone filters for the single-serve basket and standard 8–12 cup flat-bottom basket filters for batch brewing. Fifteen of each filter type are included.
Do I need the app to brew?
No. Aiden works without the app. Connecting the Fellow – Brew with Aiden app adds profile management, scheduling and firmware updates. Fellow recommends syncing the machine for current features and performance.
Does it have a hot plate?
Aiden uses a double-wall thermal carafe to keep coffee hot without a hot plate. This avoids applying heat directly to the brewed coffee.
Can Aiden make cold brew?
Yes. Its cold-brew profile uses a hot bloom followed by slow-drip brewing with cooler water. Fellow describes a typical brew of around 90 minutes; custom profiles and brew sizes can change the timing.
Is this the UK version?
Sigma Coffee's listing specifies a UK plug. Check the rating label and supplied safety manual for the electrical specification of your unit.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Follow the supplied safety manual for cleaning and descaling. The removable water tank can be lifted out for filling and cleaning. Keep the brewer maintained according to Fellow's instructions.
