DLC Espresso 64mm Flat Burrs

The 64mm DLC burr set is the burr set that brings out body in your espresso shots. Typically we would recommend DLC burrs for espresso/moka only, the DLC burr set can have a tendency to add a small hint of bitterness to your filter brews so we would advise purchasing these burrs for espresso only. That hint of bitterness is attributed to the higher coefficient of friction of the coating which throws a higher content of fines.

DLC burrs have the added benefit of lasting up to three times as long as a standard stainless steel burr set. These are rated to approximately 5000kg of grind throughput, compared to 1500-2000kg on the standard stainless steel.
