THE PRODUCER Gichathaini is a member factory of Gikanda FCS in Nyeri, Kenya, serving 1,850 farmers. With a new dry mill and meticulous fermentation and drying techniques, their SL28, SL34, Ruiru11, and Batian coffees maintain exceptional clarity and complexity.
THE PROCESS This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying — allowing the varietal mix's naturally tart, acidic character to come through with clarity, supported by Gichathaini's meticulous fermentation and drying protocols.
