Since placing second in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence in 2017, the estate has continued to achieve remarkable results.

The SL series was developed by Kenya's Scott Laboratories in the 1930s, with SL28 selected in 1935 from a drought-resistant Tanzanian population. It is known for strong drought tolerance but is susceptible to diseases such as coffee leaf rust, and genetic testing has shown its close relationship to Bourbon.

THE PROCESS
This lot is Washed, a method that removes the fruit before fermentation and drying.
