He farms 10 hectares (about 25 acres) at excellent elevation and also buys cherry from thirty neighbours with smaller gardens. This is the first year buying from Tuke, and they look forward to seeing how the relationship develops.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e74158 was approved for release in 1979 by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center, one of Ethiopia's federal agricultural research centres, from the Metu Bishari Selections taken from mother plants in the Metu woreda of the Illubabor zone. It was selected and propagated for high yield potential and resistance to coffee berry disease.
