Its genetic heritage is uncertain, but it is most likely an Ethiopian landrace that made its way to Colombia, like Chiroso, Geisha, Mejorada, Papayo, Sidra, Aji, and Wush Wush, which fits its florality, closer to a washed Ethiopian landrace or Panamanian Geisha than to a typical Colombian Bourbon.
